What does a bank account checker do?

The bank account checker modulus checks and validates sort code and account number combinations. It returns bank branch addresses and checks if the branch allows Direct Debits, Direct Credits, CHAPS and Faster Payments. Validate bank details to ensure that the account meets Bacs validation requirements for Direct Debit.

How does our software check a bank account?

Our software checks not just the bank account number and sort code, but that an account is direct debit capable and CHAPS supported, too. It also returns the Bank Identifier Code. Most European banks can be checked to make sure the correct IBAN and BBAN formats are being used.
